Ayittey Powers is proving everyday to be an affliction upon the most publicized boxing match in Ghana—raising one crazy tantrum after the other.

I am sure you all remember Ayittey Powers recently saying his spiritual father TB Joshua asked him not to fight on the earlier date set for the fight between him and Bukom Banku which was 18^th April. But you know what? The organizers decided to sit and discuss and choose a date suitable for him.

They decided on May 16^th which he agreed, putting those who can’t wait to see the fight on another watch out. Boxing fans had to be begged to wait for longer than they planned, especially those who already bought their tickets for the game.

Out of the blue, Ayittey Powers has once again announced that he cannot fight on the new date too. Why? Because he still insists T B Joshua says he should not fight!

Myjoyonline has reported that, “in an exclusive interview with Asempa Sports the Public Relation officer of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Naa Darkoa Doodo revealed that Ayittey Powers says the bout should be put on hold.

“We met this afternoon but Powers has presented a letter in which he has stated that we should hold onto the bout because his spiritual father says although he will win the bout, he shouldn’t fight now”.

“But as GBA what we know is that the bout is coming on May 16 as planned,” she added.

Boxing fans, are we watching this fight or are we not?
