In another development, Founder of Ghana Movie Awards, has revealed to GhanaCelebrities.Com that anybody (winners) who is impatience for his or her plaque should come for it without the fellow’s name on it.

Per the standard of the Ghana Movie Awards scheme, all winners have their names embossed on the plaques. It’s a standard the organizers set right from the first edition of the award in 2010. Unfortunately, they have not been able to live up to their own words and to the expectation of winners.

Some actors and actresses who won in the 2011, 2012 and 2013 edition of the award but have not received their plaques – though the organizers assured them of having them after 3 months resorted to the media to register their chafe.

A close source to the organizers who happened to have been part of their caucus meeting, has revealed to GhanaCelebrities.Com that the organizers have finally come to conclusion that, any past winner of the award who did not have his or her name embossed on it can get in touch with the organizers and the latter is ready to do so – emboss their names on it.

Also, any past winner(s) who is or are pinning to have his or her plaque can get in touch with the organizers and they shall give the plaque to the fellow without the fellow’s name on it. For confirmation, GhanaCelebrities.Com contacted the Chief Operations Officer of the award, Mr. Prince Tsegah, but he gently refused to comment. He asked us to get in touch with the Founder of the award scheme, Mr. Fred Nuamah.

We called Mr. Nuamah’s number several times but he did not pick our calls as at the time of wrapping up on this story. Later, we got in touch with him and he told GhanaCelebrities.Com  that anybody (winners) who is impatience for his or her plaque should come for it without the fellow’s name on it or otherwise.

However, on Neat 100.9 fm’s ‘Entertainment Ghana’ on Tuesday 15th April, 2014, host of the programme – Kwasi Aboagye disclosed that Fred Nuamah had already brought some plaques to him for the latter to present to Super O.D, Grace Nortey and another person; a conduct some critics described as disrespectful to the winners and the media.

According to those critics, Fred Nuamah should have organized a press conference and officially present the plaques to the respective winners. GhanaCelebritie.Com is still following up on this story for any update. Until then…MOTWUM!!
