After sacking Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng from the Black Star’s camp few hours ago, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has approved coach Kwesi Appiah’s decision to suspend both Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng indefinitely from the Black Stars.

The suspension takes immediate effect. According to GFA, Kevin Prince Boateng’s indefinite suspension is due to vulgar verbal insults he threw at the Black Stars coach-Kwesi Appiah during the team’s training session in Maceio this week.

Kevin Prince Boateng who has already left the team’s camp have had his accreditation for the 2014 World Cup withdrawn with immediate effect.

Kevin Prince Boateng has confirmed he has been sent home but denied the charges, telling the German magazine Sport-Bild: “Sulley Muntari and I were just joking around, and the coach stopped the session and sent us back to the changing room.

“Afterwards I went to him and asked what he had against me and he started yelling. He insulted me. There were words like: ‘Fuck off’.”

Boateng added he “absolutely accepts” his suspension, but added: “No-one should think I insulted the coach. I’m travelling now, and I wish my colleagues all the best for the match against Portugal.”

For Sulley Muntari, the GFA’s decision to suspend him indefinitely came as a result of “his unprovoked physical attack on an Executive Committee member of the GFA and a management member of the Black Stars, Mr. Moses Armah on Tuesday 24th June, 2014 during a meeting” the association’s website states.

Sulley Muntari has also been booted out of Black Stars camp and his accreditation for the 2014 World Cup has been revoked.  Reports say Sulley Muntari was spotted crying at his hotel…

      • Hey they are not discipline because they do the work and never gets paid. Is very normal, their appearance money is even on hold. Who the hell will go on field performing well knowing too well they’ve been cheated? Come on they did their best the match between Germany and Ghana was a great one. Today just happened to be a bad day for all of them.

  1. This leadership has issues! In Ghana, once a superior is queried, it is interpreted as an insult! Check the team now, how many of them can question their superiors? Whenever there is agitation, revolt etc, it only means a situation is not going well. The leaders should face their demons head on and stop sanctioning players, that’s all they can do anyway, siphon careers! I also doubt that, Sulley has all of a sudden gone mad and just slapping anybody in his path. Something is wrong, Let’s stop tarnishing the players!

    • I agree with you. Superiors feel they cant be questioned. I believe Sulley and Kelvin did some questioning…………
And I dont understand why the coach/GFA couldn’t allow them to join their mates to play against Portugal, considering the fact that this was a very important game(they could have sacked them after the game).
Something is wrong and i know for sure its not with the players but the leaders.

  4. Apparently this is what Sulley said….
WHAT IS THE USE OF SO MANY G.F.A OFFICIALS & OTHERS HERE? You Are Basically Non-Essential and have no role or duties here. Your Number even dwarf that of the players… You receive Bonuses for no work done. You are a drain on the Govt…. You always make money on our back and you see every Tournament as a means to make money…. And You Have The Vim to question us why we want our money?
THIS IS WHAT SULLEY MUNTARI SAID THAT LED MR.PARKER TO INSULT HIM……..LEADING TO A PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION

Moses Armah: Your money will come take time, the captain is speaking….

Sulley: Shut up, are u the one paying the money or u are the Prez.

Moses Armah: I won’t allow u to include me in your list of victims oo…..am a gangster than u

Sulley: So u can fight me eh (moving towards Moses’ direction disentangling himself from other guys retraining him).

Moses Armah: Am ready for u. You think am a coward?

Sulley: (picks a bottle and drop it, surprisingly jumps and slaps moses) Fuck you!!

Moses: Returns the slap with a blow lifts a fork…and Jonathan Mensah holds Moses’ hand up.

Essien sits quietly, Gyan and Appiah speak Ga to Sule, calming him down as Moses is whisked away by Shaban Quaye

    • Woman how did you get this information? Obaa you are too much. I hope this information is authentic though. 😉
Sulley had every right to question him and what he said really makes sense.
Thanks to Gyan & Appiah for calming Sulley down.
Why do I have a feeling Essien is a coward?

      • hahahaha is the truthooo.. From a reliable witness. i think they are all being cowards, if all of them would come up and fight them their bonuses and appearance money would be paid to them. our leaders are too evil and wicked. Sulley is filled with boldness i love that.
