NOLLYWOOD IN THE PARK | An Event Not to MISS If You Are in London-August 23

The Sun has been very generous to Londoners this year and has decided to show us more of her smile—something we should take advantage of as the Rain can beat her to take over.

The weather has been amazing this summer and that is why you have to come out with friends and family to catch up on this great experience-NOLLYWOOD in the PARK slated for Saturday, 23rd August, 2014 at Albany Road, Enfield-London

Nollywood in the Park is a Pop Up Cinema event showcasing Nollywood movies. Nollywood? I hear you ask. Well I’m sure you’ve stumbled across those African movies with poor sound quality, drawn out story lines (Part 1, 2, 3, 4 and Return of Part 1!) and questionable acting.

Well we’ve combed through the good, the bad and the ugly to find the best Nollywood movies, yes they do exist! One part films with great story lines and good acting.

So what NOLLYWOOD in the PARK will do is; take the Nollywood cinema experience to the park this summer—and I am sure you can already see the fun package, which is; enjoying a great movie at the Park with friends and family, alongside meeting new people with the Sun smiling over you. Of course, there will be some good music too—-Afrobeat is still trending!

We spend too much time in our rooms in London and it sucks, so walking into a cinema room sometimes feels like having been transported from one maximum security prison to another—cutting down on the fun cinema experience.

NOLLYWOOD in the PARK breaks this cinema feeling and offers a refreshing experience. Tickets for this event are going for just £6. You can grab a ticket online via;

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nollywood-in-the-park-tickets-12448288165?aff=eac2

The event will start from 6pm. There will be stalls promoting products, selling jewellery, snacks and food.

It will be hosted by Femi Oyeniran and a Special Guest Music by DJ AfroB

This event we will be showing; Mrs Somebody.

Mrs Somebody tells the story of Keira (Uche Jombo) a desperate single woman who attends a motivational singles seminar where she is told to have faith and also exercise the faith so as to become a MRS before the year ends.

In exercising her faith, Keira goes ahead to buy herself a wedding gown, gets her invitation ready and begins mounting pressure on her boyfriend (Yemi Blaq) to propose to her. In her bid to get married, she does some questionable things and meets some questionable men along the way.

Remember it is a park event so bring something to sit on—-a cloth, scarf or anything comfortable.
