Have we humans gotten to a point where we should stop worrying ourselves with marriage? I am just sick of the separations, breakups and divorces rocking the news daily.
From older Celebrity chefs Pat and Gina Neely to our very own Tiwa Savage from Nigeria who is being reported to having parted ways in work and in relationship with manager/husband-T Billz, marriage seems to be losing the battle to divorce.
Tiwa Savage and T Billz
Though not the first of the week, this one is closer to home and hits harder because they actually have the shortest marriage.
I must say this was the shocker of the week for me. Tiwa Savage and her manager/best friend/ husband rumoured separating was not a good thing to find out. As the Nigerian media widely reported, Tiwa Savage first sacked her husband as her manager and appointed someone else on claims of financial mismanagement.
Their marriage proceeded to crack based on the same allegations. The rumour mill is rife with stories that T Billz squandered Tiwa Savage’s hard earned cash after a flamboyant traditional marriage and wedding which she supposedly paid for. During their Dubai marriage, GhanaCelebrities.Com asked the question; who was paying for the expensive wedding, considering the fact that Tee Billz is unemployed, except that he parades himself as his wife’s manager.
To make things worst, he reportedly also beats her up from time to time! Apparently she thought she could deal with it since all these problems were present even while they were dating but things have gotten out of hands since they got married to a point where she has presently walked out on him—after he is said to have cheated. After just five months of marriage!!
Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner
This has been long coming because the Jenners have made it common knowledge that they have been living apart for the past one year. The two have been married over twenty years and Bruce Jenner is the second husband of Kris Jenner after the late Robert Kardashian with whom she had her first three kids. Her reasons are the usual, ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Divorce is nothing new to the Kardashian household and recently both Kim and Khloe got divorced. I guess these rampant divorces make it so hard for Kourtney and Scott to even consider marriage.
Randy Jackson American Idol Judge and Wife of 18 Years
Erika Jackson filed for divorce from Randy citing irreconcilable differences and asking for sole physical custody of their son together. Randy Jackson is yet to respond to her file but it is a surprise to many especially as these two have been married close to 19 years. What suddenly changed? Or has it been bad for more than a while without public knowledge?
Whiz Khalifa and Amber Rose
Just for a one year and here comes the divorce. After Amber Rose filed for divorce from Whiz Khalifa, we expected a little delay and maybe an intervention to patch things up between them but no, the rapper Whiz Khalifa responded positively. Yes, he also wants a divorce from Amber. Amber claims her husband has been unfaithful.

Jordan Sparks and Jason Derulo
The sweet Christian girl and the hip hop sensation have ended their relationship too. What happened to them after nearly three years of being together?
Apparently Jason dumped Jordan because he claims he wants her to focus more on her career and be more successful. I see! Ladies you hear that? Don’t give it all up for a man to be there for him around the clock. He will dump you with a flimsy excuse! Well, I hope they get back together.

Ciara and Future
Oops, let us not forget Ciara and Future who recently got engaged and have a son together!
After damning evidence of Future dating his stylist through Ciara’s pregnancy and after surfaced, Ciara confronted the rapper and the two split for a while but she took him back because she claimed he was young and still learning.
Somehow, it looks like she found out more and has since called it quits and returned the rappers engagement ring of $500,000 he gave her.
What why not sell the damn ring for some money? Ladies, would you return such an expensive ring to a man who cheated on you?

The two darling celebrity chefs who have stolen the stomachs of America and the hearts of viewers of their food programme with the sweet affection and chemistry between them on camera have also ended their marriage.
After over twenty years, they have also pulled the plug on their marriage with the cliché, irreconcilable differences. I always think there is more to it when this old line is cited but we are glad they have not gone on to trade insults and accusation in the media.
I wish I could report on the divorces and separations of my social group too but who knows them? Hahaha. So there you have it, all hearts are broken as everyone seems to be giving up on love and throwing their hearts out.
Which of these couples hurt you by their breakup? I will pick Jason and Jordan. I was not expecting them to break up at all!
Chris, please stop lying. You know Tiwa isn’t getting a divorce and there aren’t any rumors (besides the one you’re now starting) that she is. Stick with what’s out there.
And how do you know she is not getting a divorce? Like how close are you to her?
