Weekly Discussions: What Are Some of the Weirdest & Popular Nicknames You Heard/Knew During Your Secondary School Days?

Last week, we looked at the various Secondary Schools our Ghanaian celebrities attended—and even mentioned the schools some of us attended.

For those who could not mention the names of their schools for fear of ridicule, we are back with the Secondary School memories and this time, we are looking at some of the weirdest nicknames we heard or knew—the popular and unpopular ones.

One interesting thing about Secondary Schools is how much people are into nicknames, to the extent that you could spend 3 years with someone on a regular basis and never know his or her real name, except nicknames.

Woe unto you if you came to my Secondary School those days looking for anyone with his real name. Unless you are lucky to meet someone from his class, you would never be able to find him. But the moment you threw his nickname in the air, it became easy to locate them.

Some of the weirdest and popular nicknames in my Secondary School are; Bob Satan, Twesparaoo, 2Sticks,’Etweba‘ and ‘School Dey Bore’ .
