This is pretty interesting, that is if I do not want to say ridiculous…
Ghana does not have a sustainable power (electricity) and this did not just start—it has been going on for as long as I can remember, under various Governments.
But the fact remains, the power problem in Ghana has become bigger under President Mahama’ s administration and despite no evidence of real efforts being made to curb things, he says he will soon solve our power problems—and export power (electricity) to Nigeria and other African states.
President Mahama is reported as having said at Economic Forum in Dubai that;
“We [his administration] have given priority to electricity generation in our country. We have prioritized energy in such a way that we want to become the hub for power production in West Africa. We want to generate electricity to the point that excess power can be exported to Nigeria, Ivory Coast and other countries that have power deficit.”
And to get this done, he has secured funds from China and Abu Dhabi…
