Happy DeathDay: The Movie that Got People Talking…

Happy Deathday
Happy Deathday

One of the livelier qualities of the works of ABC Pictures is how, even in the midst of sorrow and boredom, a sincere happiness emerges out of the fusion of love and comedy.

The first quarter of this year was a blast, celebrating Independence Day alongside the premiere of ‘Devil in a Dress’. I honestly assumed that was going down as the finest movie premiered this year till I witnessed the premiere of ‘Happy Death Day’ last Friday.

Even though I was a bit late for the premiere, I still was able to have the kind of fun I looked out for. Taking the storyline, quality of production, costuming, scoring, etc. into consideration, there wouldn’t be any word fitting to describe the movie than amazing.

It’ll be hard for anyone to discuss a movie like Happy Death day’ without giving too much away because the excitement alone might let you disclose everything.

Surrounded by all kinds of people in the cinema hall, the only unanimous expression I heard from everyone was “aww, this movie is a masterpiece.” As for the aged-man who sat next to my left, I do not really know if he was overly excited because of the movie or what his side-chick had told him from the house.

The attendance, I must say, was marvelous.

The storyline is one of the best that anybody can ever come across. Filled with suspense and a little bit of jesting, pushing viewers to think, the movie has lived up to expectation.

However, as we already know, some things only happen in movies and not in real life. I found it quite difficult to bring myself to terms with how some acts took place in the movie – which wouldn’t be possible in real life.

Nevertheless, I got the importance of such scenes when the movie almost got to its end, realizing the story was fixated around a reverie.

Until you watch this movie, you wouldn’t understand why the title – Happy Death Day – perfectly suits it. If you missed the premiere, I guess you can catch it at the SilverBird Cinemas for the on-going showings or wait till the DVDs are released…

    • Loooool….funny….but seriously though…watch V republic….I read the review over here and I was sceptic….I got bored yesterday and started watching it on YouTube….it’s amazingly good….reviews can be misleading sometimes…but it’s also meant to be the writers point of view….so if the writer liked it then that’s the writers review….

      • I don’t have a problem with the writer liking it or not. What I’m saying is that that’s not a review. What’s the movie about? What did they like about the story? “I found it quite difficult to bring myself to terms with how some acts took place in the movie”…??? What “acts”??? “…when the movie almost got to its end, realizing the story was fixated around a reverie”…? Huh??? Wait what???
