Ordinary people do it all the time—and the celebrities also do it. In fact, Twilight star-Robert Pattinson was spotted last Friday grabbing the butt of his new girlfriend and among my friends, some said it is PDA—and others said, it was disrespectful…

Over the weekend, the conversation continued on the topic and still there were many views which opposed each other on what this sort of act, mostly done by men actually means.

Personally as a woman, I’ve not had my butt grabbed in public ever—but in private, I love it if well and carefully done.

However, I do not know how I will respond if my man decides to give me a grab in public—more likely, I will think that is disrespecting and it would make me feel like a mere sex object.

I don’t see this as PDA at all because men seems to be the one doing it all the time. If it is PDA, the women should also be wanting to do it too.

  1. You can look, but to smack it is very disrespectful. Because the butt is a sexualized area in our culture. Touching a sexualized area of another person is harassment. It makes people uncomfortable, and is often read as a kind of playful “sexual advance” that crosses an unacceptable boundary. Woman are not pieces of meat
