Government of Ghana Officials to Be FLOWN into Equatorial Guinea for Black Stars’ Semi-Final Clash?

If you think nothing is wrong with our leaders when it comes to placing priorities in Ghana, then you must have no understanding of the needs of Ghanaians—and may have not heard about the many unpaid workers.

So many workers in the public sector have not been paid for many months and the reason is; the Government is broke.

Literally, we depend on foreign aid, loans, grants and donations for our survival as a nation but we seem to have a lot of cash to throw anyway into so many unproductive things—especially when it comes to sports.

Few months ago, the Black Stars were paid huge sums of money in Brazil when the country was on its last legs for cash—with huge sums of the budgeted cash for the Black Stars not even reaching them.

Today, it has emerged that instead of Government officials sitting at home and watching the Black Stars play their African Cup of Nations’ semi-finals like we will all do, they will be flown into Equatorial Guinea on a presidential jet to watch the match.

And if this happens, the State will not only have to foot the bill of the flight, accommodation and per diem must all be paid. Knowing our people, this may fetch a million dollars bill for the tax payer.

Of course the Government is broke—and yet we can afford this? This better not be true…

Remember, several supports are already out there! They will soon come out and tell us it was a corporate sponsorship scheme…
