These instances of Nanny brutality seems to be on a scale, where each newest one seems more wicked than the one that came before.

You would recall the Ugandan nanny who assaulted a kid so badly; the video was terrible to watch. She was jailed, and now another nanny who committed a terrible crime against the baby she was supposed to be guarding receives her just deserts.

Violet Boyo, 22 years old and from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, received a 22 year jail sentence after being found guilty of murder, MailOnline reports.

Violet was hired as a nanny to a 10 month old baby as his parents had to work during the day. After bathing and feeding the child and putting him to bed, she sat down to enjoy some TV.

But the kid woke up and started crying, and this was inconveniencing Violet, who wanted to continue watching her television. Her genius solution was to stuff the 10 month old boy in a drawer!!

She went to check on the kid after three hours of crying free TV, only to discover him dead. In sentencing, the judge said of Violet’s actions as being ‘very cruel and brutal’.

Indeed. Not everyone is suited to the care of other people, and if that’s not your expertise why choose to be a nanny? People would inevitably need the services of such people but the utmost circumspection is needed in choosing who and who not to hire.
