A Woman Defends Sending Over $1.5 Million to A Man She Met Online in Africa | Saying They Are in Love & He Will Come to Her Soon…

Technology has changed the way we find love but for this particular woman, this is costing her a lot of money—and she still thinks she is doing the right thing.

A woman who has so far sent about $1.4 million to her online lover she has never met in Africa says, she is confident they will be together soon.

“Twice-divorced Sarah met Chris Olsen online 18 months ago. Though the mysterious man’s accent has changed over time, and he keeps asking for money to be wired to various different countries, Sarah insists she is ’95 per cent certain’ that he is telling her the truth. Despite his numerous attempts to come home so they can be together, she says, he keeps getting arrested on false charges” reports MailOnline.

Obviously, this is a clear case of fraud but it’s difficult to understand why this woman cannot see it—and even when told, she doesn’t seem to believe anything else apart from her man being real.

The website adds that “In an interview with Dr Phil, Sarah explained that they speak for hours on the phone each day. She described the moment they met on the internet: ‘An attractive person came on there and said “wow you look like you wouldn’t hurt a fly”. I said “wow this guy’s really handsome, I can’t believe he’s talking to me!”‘

He told her he was called Chris Olsen, who hailed from Milan but moved to the U.S. 18 years ago.”

When they met online, the said man was in South Africa, then moved to Nigeria, Benin and other places in Africa—all for business. Sarah has now sent him $1.4 million in total for hotel bills, calling cards, lawyers, an expired visa, stolen credit cards and bail.

Last June, Sarah had to sell an apartment she owned to wire him $550,000 bail—and she doesn’t regret doing this, claiming, Chris is doing his best to come back to her.

Sarah is a little suspicious but love wouldn’t really make her see the full picture.  She said, ‘When I first started talking to him, he sounded Italian now his accent’s kind of changed I don’t know if he’s adapted to where he’s at… in Benin.’

What a lucky bastard Chris is…LOL
