It seems nothing is going to sojourn the determined Boko Haram from the many atrocities the group is committing.
The Islamist group on Friday ambushed some civilians who were reported to be on their way to a market near Lake Chad. Out of the people who were ensnared, seven have been killed, officials have declared today.
According to Dimouya Souapede, deputy prefect of Baga Sola, some of the victims were beheaded while others were shot. “Improvised mines were later discovered along the road between Tchoukou Telia and Ngouboua close to the Nigerian border which Boko Haram raided in recent weeks”, AFP reports.
In a move to guard against the Islamist terrorist group, the Chardian army is currently taking part in a regional offensive against the insurgents along with troops from Nigeria, Niger, and Cameroon.
