According to reports, it has been confirmed that the alleged kidnapping and gang rape of Takoradi based YFM’s presenter-Ms Ada also known as Adaeze Onyinyechie Ayoka was staged—despite the incident having received huge public sympathy.
“Police and doctors in the Western region have concluded after investigations into the matter that the incident was planned and acted out. She has been identified as Akosua Apea who hails from the Eastern region.
According to Starr News Western regional correspondent Emmanuel Ohene Gyan, the suspect contacted a syndicate and hired them to stage the act,” reports Starr FM.
Apparently, the woman involved in this is being transferred to Accra to face prosecution—and the question is, why would someone do this to herself and the public’s sentiment?
Obviously, there are several holes in the presenter’s story—because doctors and police have said no bruises or anything as such was found on her. It’s pretty unlikely for a gang-raped woman to come out of the ordeal with no mark on her body.
If indeed, she did this to her self, can people now share the photos that came out of the lies without being seen as doing anything wrong? After all, this is what she wanted…right?
It emerged earlier on that, this is the fifth time the same lady has gone missing within the last two years.
“District Police Commander DSP, Husseini Awinada told Graphic online’s correspondent that they have not been able to get any statement from the victim as of now as she was still speechless.
He recalled that this is the fifth time within the last two years that the same victim had been reported kidnapped. He said in all those instances, the victim was unable to help the police to unravel the case.”
This got a lot of people to ask questions like; Was she sexually assaulted also any of the previous times? With someone like this, seemingly a serial victim, what kind of protection was she offered. How hard did the police work to find the perpetrators on each of the five, prior occasions.
Now, it seems she is a liar—and staged this with some people. This is why you kids should run away from weed!

Oh! And she got all of us emotional and crying for her. How could she joke about something this serious. This must be the worst publicity stunt the country has seen. The girl is sick, she needs a psychiatrist. No joke.

The radio station better come out with an explanation for all this mess because there were the ones who released the statement about kidnapping and rape in the first place knowing very well the girl had played this same game 5 times in the past with the police. The last time was as recent as feb 2015.
How can you play with the nation like this? Even the ministry of gender and IGP got involved! So next time there is a real case, who will defend you.
