Yesterday, we reported that struggling comedian-David Oscar had taken to his facebook to blame Ghanaians for causing dumsor themselves—and says, he would be a hypocrite to join the #DumsorMustStop campaign.
His comment got several people going after him on social media, especially on his facebook where he made this comment (You can read some of the things people had to say to him below this post).
The comedian who is not anyway funny took to his facebook to call those preparing to stage a #DumsorMustStop vigil a hypocrite by saying;
“I’m not even gonna be hypocritical and join the #DumsorMustStop trend.
“How many of us have tried to conserve energy? Thanks to our waste, the dams are suffering. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a mindless critic of the president JDM, and I understand that there are alternative sources of energy, but do you think that if it was that easy to fix the power crisis, the president would not saved himself the blames and constant harassment?
“As a nation, we happen to be fault seekers and less of vision implementers. Dumsor must stop, but your constant whining and whimpering would not act as a magic wand. Period!”
A few minutes ago, the self-imposed champion of the social media Dumsor activism-actress Yvonne Nelson in a sarcastic manner went for David Oscar’s head in a tweet she sent out.
The actress who started and is currently leading a pack of celebrities in a #DumsorMustStop campaign said;
It surely looks like this Dumsor campaign is deeply going to divide the stars; with some seeing the campaign as the much needed effort to get the government to act—and the others saying, it’s pretty unnecessary.
Late last month, Ghanaian actor-John Dumelo attracted unending insults from Ghanaians when he said ‘Rome was not built in a day’ and as such Ghanaians should stop putting pressure on President Mahama—and allow him to solve the current power crisis at his own pace.

Lol. The comedian is right though. Since when has just whining ever helped? Ghana is going through all these because nigeria withdrew 40% of its energy supply to Ghana..lol. Common sense will tell you the comment you made is senseless and unnecessary. If not that almost part of Nigeria has trooped to Ghana our power was sufficient for us because we aint that much and you said Nigeria was giving us 40% of our power supply whiles there are babies born in Nigeria who have never seen electricity because it comes once in in a blue moon. At this critical point, they all have to come together and support the dum dum and the sor sor. His opinion to the media is not necessary. We striving hard for a better Ghana and not politics. He can be a strong NDC candidates but if he truly loves the mother Ghana he should join the campaign. NDC has disappointed every one so no need to support the looser Mahama. This lunatic or a comedian is not even fit to be labeled as a celebrity so if you want the truth, your party supporter is not fit to participate.
