Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) who is somewhat related to Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) and was somehow mentioned in the whole KKD rape saga has taken to facebook to make an interesting comment—and to say, someone needs education when it looks like he needs that education.
KOD is marveled by the fact that a female customer who bought his clothes returned them on the grounds that her husband did not like KKD (here, we assume it’s because of the rape case)—and also because of KOD’s association or relation to KKD and the rape saga.
According to KOD, he finds the husband of the customer’s position really unintelligent and as such, he even thought about taking his number and calling to EDUCATE him.
Here, we think the husband does not need any sort of education, KOD does—and we are going to give him one for free.
Has KOD ever heard of customers boycotting brands because of the moral or illegal actions of the owners, the founders or their mere association with criminals or certain wrong enterprises?
It’s only in Ghana that people who own businesses are able to act or associate anyhow they want without their businesses suffering. Recently in the UK, several mini demonstrations where staged by supporters of Palestine across the country, calling for boycotts of the supermarket-Tesco because of its association and donations to Isreal.
KOD is not only related to KKD, has he so soon forgotten he was in the hotel room and somehow played a part in the alleged rape which became the talk of the country? He may not have a conscience and moral standing to see certain acts immoral or wrong but that does not mean everyone is like him…
What the husband of the customer did is totally right and instead of being furious and posting the below comment on social media, he needs to re-evaluate his associations and activities as a business man.
Not all Ghanaians are lame anymore, a lot of them are enlightened and they would want people to pay for how they act, especially those with businesses…
