Tracy Morgan’s limousine was hit by a Wal-Mart truck in a terrible accident which incapacitated the comedian and killed his friend James McNair.

Morgan filed a lawsuit as he battled to get back to health, having suffered broken leg bones, broken nose, and several broken ribs in the crash. Two other people were injured.

After a protracted battle, the two parties have reached an amicable settlement, which Morgan describes as adequate. The terms of the settlement are being kept confidential, but Morgan released a statement which indicates his contentedness with the deal.

“Wal-Mart did right by me and my family and for my associates and their families” The statement said

“I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably.”
