And she’s getting help, from her brother-in-law Kanye West. Yeezus himself is tutoring her one on one as she works to release her first single.

From reality star to pop star? RadarOnline.com reported last year that Kylie Jenner was working on a singing career, and her mom Kris recently confirmed the big news. Now, insiders tell Radar that she’s actually very close to releasing a single — thanks to brother-in-law Kanye West!

“Kanye has been helping her with her music,” an insider reveals. “He has been mentoring her and the two have been working on her first single together.”

“Kanye wants to see Kylie succeed in the industry and he know that with her talent and his guidance, she can actually make a name for herself,” the insider adds.

“She actually does her homework, takes direction and has gotten really, really good!”

In an upcoming episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, momager Kris confirmed that 17-year- old Kylie has been taking singing lessons for more than a year, and sounds “really amazing!”
