The heavy rains have only been around for a few weeks and already people are dying. A myjoyonline report indicates a 20 year old student died in the floods in Dansoman yesterday.
The deceased, a 20 year old student of the government secretariat who was rushing to write exams, when she fell into an overflowing gutter. She was fished out and sent to Hospital, but died later.
Prior to that, a 9 year old girl also drowned around Dansoman, according to this Starrfmonline report.
Other sections of the city are already over flooded, carrying away properties and making commuting very difficult for people.
