Actress-Yvonne Nelson premiered her latest movie-‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ last night in Accra—and to her disappointment, the turn out was really poor as only a few people turned up compared her previous premieres.
Perhaps, she should have been smart and postponed the premiere following the Accra flood disaster—the fact it also rained yesterday with several hovering warnings meant that, people were not ready to risk their lives for a damn movie premiere.
According to the guys at GhBase.Com who attended the premiere;
“Unfortunately for the actress, the heavy rains that poured in the country and the filling station blast that happened two days earlier affected the premiere.
Most people didn’t show up for the premiere unlike the last movie she premiered “Single, Married & Complicated”.
As at 7:30pm, the corridor of the Silver birds were still empty with just some few media men hovering around, waiting for the celebrities to come, so they could take pictures and do their interviews.”
All the same, the celebrity friends came out to support even if the fans disappeared.

You don’t have to have passed your SSSCE to know the mood in our country is not the best to have a movie premier. She should have postponed it. I was shopping at the mall and was utterly shocked to see how poor the turn out was. It could have been soo much better if she had analyzed things well.
When you people like Chris say this woman is not smart, people get offended. Who will want to premiere a movie during this national havoc? Good no one turned up for her.
This is why she failed her exams twice
Business is always all about timing. This one dieh she BLAST proper. She could not have picked a worst time to premier.
