Blakk Rasta ‘Forced’ To RESIGN From Hitz FM | He Says ‘Movement Time’

Blakk Rasta who was dragged to appear in front of Ghana’s parliament a few days ago for certain comments he made on radio, has resigned from his radio job at Hitz Fm, owned by Multimedia Group.

Blakk Rasta’s woes started when boldly called for the legalisation of marijuana on his radio show, a topic that is obviously dear to him. Whilst making his point, the outspoken artiste claimed that even our legislators, 80% to be precise, smoked the plant themselves.

Parliament got furious and summoned him before the Privileges committee of Parliament- as apparently there were no important legislations to make since everything is so rosy in Ghana; but surprisingly the very outspoken Blakk Rasta turned into a little b*tch before the committee.

He retracted his statements, saying they were made in the spur of the moment. He apologised unreservedly, with his lawyer saying “We came to apologise unreservedly. It is contemptuous and we apologise”

Just a week after his parliament appearance, the host of Hitz Fm’s Taxi Driver show has resigned. He took to twitter to inform his fans, saying, “I just resigned from @HITZ1039 …Movement time. Thanks so much for the love. To Jah be the glory…#kuchoko.”

We’ve not even seen parliament’s report on the above issue yet and we are not sure about Blakk Rasta’s fate but it looks like, he has been ‘forced’ to resign.
