I hope this people know what they’re doing because I do not know what a 13 year old boy would bring to the table.

We hope this does not disrupt this boy’s life or education in the way. The whole institution is an anachronism anyway.

“A 13-year-old boy has been installed chief of Pakyi No 1, in the Ashanti region.

The minor, Barima Kwadwo Bonsu, was taken through the various enstoolment rituals at the Pakyi palace
Saturday.

Many residents of the town have reportedly criticised the move which was supervised by the Queen mother of the community.

But in her defence, Nana Yaa Asantewaa Bonsu, who is also the mother of the juvenile chief said she was instructed by the Asantehene to install her son.

She added that any move to the contrary would have amounted to great disrespect to the Asante monarch.”
