Joaquim Guzman, also known as Shorty, proves again that ‘no jail can hold him’.
The notorious Mexican cartel boss escaped on Saturday from the Altiplano maximum security prison that had been holding him for over a year now.
The well known escapee slipped through a small hole in the shower floor, and then climbed down a 32 foot ladder into a mile long tunnel. He emerged at an abandoned construction site, having arrived there on a motor cycle built on rails that was waiting for him in the tunnel.
18 prison employees are being questioned, whilst a massive manhunt is in progress for the elusive Guzman, reports the Business Insider.
Guzman has only been in prison over a year, because in 2001 he escaped from another maximum security federal prison and led police on a massive chase until his re-arrest in 2014.
If they are going to take that long to find him again, they might as well call off the manhunt now.
