The YFM presenter Ms Ada, who led Ghanaians on a wild goose chase with her carefully crafted abduction story, has been discharged from hospital.

The reporter, who for some unknown reason staged her own kidnapping and rape- or so we’re told, has been in hospital since her issue cropped up. Police are keeping watch over her because she allegedly was contemplating suicide.

Reports indicate Ms Ada has been released from the hospital, although she continues to get psychiatric help. The state is planning to charge her with the “creation and circulation of obscene materials”

Ms Ada was apparently kidnapped and raped by a syndicate in April this year, only for news to emerge later that she might have staged all that herself. She was arrested and placed on trial, but so far has been very uncooperative, and was even at a point in the past assumed as a suicide threat. So her being released from hospital means she must have made a lot of progress.

We now wait to see where this case takes us.
