The incendiary rap group, largely credited as the founder’s of modern hip hop; the N.W.A is set to go on a reunion tour that is set to electrify audiences everywhere.
The group is working on releasing ‘Straight Outta Compton’, their biopic which is set to be released in August. Named after their debut, best selling album, the biopic is set to tell their story from underground group with a brash style to the hip hop legends they currently are.
Donna Langley, chairperson of Universal Studios, which is releasing the film, said in an interview that a reunited N.W.A. would promote the movie with a tour of unspecified European destinations.
“We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
“But we think it can create a lot of buzz,” she added.
Dr Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella would all (hopefully) make the tour. For Eazy E, who died in 1995, the perfect replacement has been found for the tour.
Eminem: who owes his entire career to Dr Dre. If they’re able to get the ‘Not Afraid’ MC for the tour, with his similarly provocative lyrics, it’ll be like nothing ever changed.
