Whilst Obama might have been pissing off the top level Kenyans with his insistence on gay rights, the ordinary Kenyan were just happy the man whose father comes from their land has finally found the time to visit.

And as a sign of honour, some Kenyan babies born on the Friday that Obama landed in Kenya has been handed names which would make them remember the visit for the rest of their lives.

Reports indicate an Obama related name craze has taken hold of Kenyans who gave birth on July 24, when Obama touched down in Kenya.

“And at least two babies were named after the president’s airplane.

Born Friday, little AirForceOne Barack Obama was one of eight babies born in the city of Kisumu during the president’s recent visit.

In addition to the takes on the president’s (and his plane’s) name, three girls also got Obama-related names.

One was named Michelle , another was called Malia and a third was named Malia Sasha after both Obama girls.

‘I could not call my daughter any other name,’ said Wilkister Anyango, new mother to Malia Sasha.
