Muntari Thinks International Talent Like Balotelli And Welbeck Might Have Avoided The Black Stars Because We Do Not Treat Our Players Well

I don’t know where exactly Muntari is getting this from, because whilst many players can claim they weren’t treated well, his problems has mainly been his doing.

The new Al-Ittihad midfielder told Starr that he believes the ill-treatment we mete out to our players might have lost us some top class talent in the past.

“Black Stars can have amazing young talents that can be there now and for the future as well, but if you keep on treating them badly they wouldn’t love to even join the team.

“You will drive them away. Top players like Balotelli and Danny Welbeck could have played for Ghana but why, probably we don’t know how to get them and even if they hear people quitting the national team, they wouldn’t have any interest to join the team,”

Hello dude. You have made a habit of petulant outbursts throughout your career and that has caused a lot of your problems.

The Ghana FA have many issues to sort out, but to me this Muntari concern is a non starter.

  1. I think he’s referring to the fact that the Ghana National Football Commission doesn’t pay its players well. That could be it, but who knows.

  2. Football is not just about money or kicking ball…that’s what everybody thinks cos these players are getting loads of money so they should shut up…imagine having a job where your boss does not treat you well…he/she does not even motivate you to do better…he talks to you anyhow and expect you to abide everything he says cos he thinks he’s doing you a favor…at the end of the day these players gets lot of money but their time of work is limited therefore they need to have a solid career to survive after their time of football has ended….some get it shortened based on other circumstances….there are good players that can play for Ghana but they pull back cod of mistreatment….why do you think essien was pulling back…and kwarasey I know there’s more to this than he says…I understand he think they won’t treat them well…not money wise…but psychologically….
