Members Of The Presidential Press Corps Involved In Accident: Samuel Nuamah Of Ghanaian Times Confirmed Dead

Sad news coming in as some members of the Presidential press corps were reportedly involved in a gory accident Thursday afternoon, with one confirmed dead in the accident.

The accident occurred when the vehicle they were travelling in reportedly bust a tyre at Afienya around Tema. The injured have been rushed to Michel Camp Hospital for attention, whilst one reporter has been confirmed dead.

The deceased is Samuel Nuamah, who works for the state owned Ghanaian Times newspaper in Accra.

The Presidential press corps were returning from Ho, where the President was present at the annual convention of the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) church in Ho. There were about twenty journalists on the bus at the time of the crash.

Samuel Nuamah reportedly died on the spot, whilst two other journalists are in critical condition at the hospital.
