Yemi Alade has gone wild on some Nigerian media outlets for inciting rivalry into female musicians in the country.

The anger of the Nigerian afro pop singer was sparked by a publication made by a local news website, headlined; ‘How Yemi Alade Finally Kicked out Tiwa Savage from the Throne”, which went viral in the country and other part of the world.

In the said article, the writer tried comparing Yemi Alade with the Mavin’s Tiwa Savage and other female singers in Nigeria–and also articulated how she rose to fame.

However, the ‘Looking for Johnny’ singer says she is not in competition with anyone and has good relationship with her comrades in the Nigerian music industry.

Yemi Alade in an Instagram post pleaded with her fans and media to stop the instigating tension and baseless comparison;
