Ghanaian Musician, songwriter and entrepreneur, Kwame Nsiah Appau, known in showbiz circles as Okyeame Kwame has named what he believes are his Top Five Rappers in Ghana.

Heer! The Rap Doctor was bold enough to disclose this; and I think he would have been punched by now if he was able to unveil that of Top Ghana Dancehall Artistes…

Okyeame Kwame who was speaking on YFM’s Lifestyle Café said;

“This is in no particular order because I believe every rapper is unique.

“I will say EL, my brother Flowking Stone, Sarkodie, Edem, Joey B and everybody I have said can rap but I couldn’t mention in the top five.

“Because honestly, every young rapper out there that rap can actually rap. X.O Senavoe, he is amazing. That’s why I keep telling the young people, you cannot become popular if you can rap now, because everyone can rap. You have to add something else.”

The rap icon has won bunch of Ghana Music Awards; he was named the artiste of the year, Hiplife Song of the year, Song of the year, Video of the year in 1999 and grabbed the Best rapper of the year 2011/2012.
