The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results for this year’s examinations that was hit by widespread leakage of papers.
In one of the most widespread leakages the Council has been hit with, five papers were leaked on a very large scale, and WAEC was forced to cancel those papers and have the students resit.
The results for the exams has now been released by WAEC . However, as is customary, they have released provincial results first. In a press release making the announcement, the Council announced it is withholding the results of 6,812 students.
These students were alleged to have been involved in other malpractices and the results are being held pending the conclusion of WAEC investigations.
Students who wish to view their results can do so online whilst WAEC distributes the results to all schools nationwide.
