Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco and her husband of 21 months Ryan Sweeting, have decided to call to a halt their matrimonial journey.

The pair got married on the last day of 2013, after dating for three months. Whilst they’ve had some troubles with media scrutiny, and even had to debunk divorce rumours a couple times; this announcement is still a little out of the blue.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage,” A rep for the TV star told ET.

“They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

Cuoco is one of the stars of CBS’ hit comedy The Big Bang Theory, and stars alongside ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, who plays the mother of all eccentric characters; Sheldon Cooper.

The actress and tennis star Sweeting are yet to personally comment on the divorce.
