Selly Galley & Praye Tiatia Were Forced to Engage Because She is PREGNANT | Remember Praye Tiatia Already Has 4 Children He Abandoned

Selly and Praye---Check for the pregnancy
Selly and Praye—Check for the pregnancy

A lot of people are celebrating or talking about the fact that former Big Brother Africa’s housemate-Selly Galley and her boyfriend-Praye Tiatia, now called Cartel Big J are engaged.

On the face of it, the two look happy and have willingly make a commendable step into their relationship. However, GhanaCelebrities.Com is told that, the engagement came off on the back of many weeks of fights and arguments caused by the fact that Selly got pregnant, unplanned.

A source close to Selly told us last night that, the pregnancy was unplanned and Praye Tiatia allegedly even threatened to abandon the relationship if she does not terminate it—since he was ready.

Of course Praye Tiatia seems not to be ready; considering the state of his career—but we are told, Selly did not buy into the threats.

Selly decided not to abort the pregnancy, allegedly saying, since Praye Tiatia already has 4 children with his previous wife, he therefore does not care if she [Selly] is able to give birth or not in the future and that’s why abortion has always been on his lips.

“It has been many weeks of strong fights and Selly’s family had to step in to make this engagement happen. Because, Praye said he was not ready and the pregnancy should not push them into marrying when they were not ready,” our source said.

In 2013, GhanaCelebrities.Com broke the news on how Praye Tiatia suddenly ditched his wife with 4 kids, saying, the marriage had issues they cannot work through and proceeded to get involved with Selly Galley, someone he considered was more suitable for his class.

At the time, we reported that;

“Praye Tietia who happens to be the only child of his parents, has left this woman and his kids to their fate. He will not even pay the kids school fees, send them feeding money or upkeep. Nothing! Praye does nothing at all for any of his kids, GhanaCelebrities.Com has learned.

An amazing twist to the story after a lot of digging by GhanaCelebrities.Com is that, Praye Tietia is said to have vehemently refused to accept responsibility for the 4th child, claiming he is not the father.

He does not even want to see this woman anymore or have anything to do with her and his 4 children (3 of which he has accepted as his).

In this day of a very difficult economy, this woman has to fend for 4 children all alone while their father gallivants about town parading his Beauty Queen Selly.”

Selly and Praye Tiatia are now engaged—and we are told, nothing has changed for the 4 children of Praye and the poor woman he once married.

Why must a woman have kids with a man and then be faced with bringing them up alone? Leaving a woman in emotional turmoil is bad enough—adding financial turmoil makes it wicked.

And this is Praye Tiatia, happily engaged to another woman who is pregnant for him—you can’t just understand some men!

  1. Oh GC sometimes the way you report stories is just unfortunate.

A man is never under any obligation or force to marry his pregnant girlfriend and no family member can force him to do so. He can simply standby and watch the lady have the baby.

So if a man marries his pregnant girlfriend then that is what he feels happy to do.

Pls don’t get it twisted GC.

    • That’s a lie as I know men who have actually been ‘forced’ to marry women they knocked up upon pressure from the lady’s family. If you don’t know that’s ok but it really happened. And 90% of the cases I know are Ewe families

      • Am glad you used the word “forced” in quotation marks! is the family of the pregnant woman going to swallow the man or kill him for not marrying their daughter becos she is pregnant?
In any case is the man an orphan. Does is also not have family to support his decisions? if a man says he WILL NOT MARRY YOU and your pregnancy, NOBODY can force him!!! Period!!! If it is quilt/shame of the men you know that “forced” them to marry their pregnant ladies, then that is their own cup to carry. “Guilt” “Shame” and “Force” are not the same thing.

In this present day and age, it is absurd for you to even tag any tribe as culprits in your response. Such a shallow low blow!!

  2. Sometimes I don’t understand some women. A man has 4 kids which has refused to take responsibility of and you proceed to get pregnant to him or marry him? What is the guarantee he will treat you any different? Send him back to his wife and kids

    • 2015 and tribal war is still a thing? Seriously why do you find it okay to trash a tribe just to make you feel okay with yourself? Does being ignorant feed you or your family? It’s sad that people can just come on line and say whatever just to make up for the lack of up bringing and respect for others.

      • Unfortunately we have people like lowlow with low self esteem who comes online to insult other tribes just to feel better about themselves. I am so glad that Lisa chose to ignore this dunderhead, otherwise GC would have turn into a tribal war zone again. We are all Ghanaians who are going through the same struggle, fighting to make Ghana better for all of us. We are of the same race, the only thing which differentiate us is language. And we can’t get along? The black race will forever be last.
