It’s here! The hotly anticipated duet from Daddy Lumba and Great Ampong is out.

Titled ‘Hossana’, the song is the lead single from the duo’s collaboration album which is slated to be released before the end of the year.

The Roro-produced jam was premiered last Saturday (October 3) at the National Theatre, where Lumba was hosting a concert to celebrate his 51st birthday.

I was so stoked for this new music from my favourite but I’m hugely disappointed after listening to it.

Hossana is very so-so in my view. It sounds like every other Ampong song, from the production to those generic lyric, everything is a snoozefest.

Also, I was expecting to hear more Lumba on this song. Apart from the first verse and the adlibs, the iconic singer didn’t really leave his mark on ‘Hossana’.
