Sensational Ghanaian gospel singer, Gifty Osei has disclosed that she will be hosting a concert to thank God after recovering from an airline accident at the Kotoka International Airport in 2014.
The incident occurred when the Starbow aircraft she boarded from Kumasi to Accra made an emergency landing— leading to her getting injuries that required her using crutches for almost five months.
According to her, doctors told her that she may not be able to walk again due to how severe the injuries were, and she believes the Almighty God miraculously saved her life.
Gifty told Showbiz that she will be staging a concert dubbed Ubufakazi Bam on October 25 at the Christ Apostle Church, Tema Community 4, to show appreciation to God.
Gifty said Ubufakazi Bam, which translates as ‘my testimony’, is a South African word; and the concert is to thank God for all that he has done for her.
“I want to share my testimony with Ghanaians because God has been good to me and my family. it could have been worse. I could have even lost my life in the accident.
“Apart from my Starbow incident, I have been confronted with so many issues and with each of them, the good Lord finds a way of getting me out of it. What else could I have done but to stage a concert to thank God almighty for His endless love.
Known for songs like Fefeefe, Abuburo Nkosua just to mention a few, Gifty called on her fans to keep supporting her
“This year has been slow for me but next year is going to be fireworks. I am almost done with my next album and I know it will blow the minds of Ghanaians”, she said.
