After giving birth to her first child, Isaiah in February through a C-section delivery, American singer and songwriter, Carrie Underwood is looking amazing as she covers the November issue of the Shape magazine.

Carrie Underwood who is married to NHL star Mike Fisher, revealed that she begun to work on her physique after she was declared fully fit to do and that helped her to get her beautiful figure back.

“After I had Isaiah, my goal was to take control of my body again,” Carrie shared. “I was lucky: I gained only 30 pounds, which is the recommended amount, and I exercised throughout my pregnancy.”

“Within 20 days, though, I was able to begin walking slowly on the treadmill and around my neighborhood. It felt so good to be active,” the seven-time GRAMMY winner recounted. “Now we box and we hike trails, among other things. I like to continually mix up my routines to stay motivated.”

According to the 32-year-old singer, the fitness trick leading to her amazing post-baby body is a good old-fashioned diet and exercise which worked like a charm.

“I’m vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal. I’ll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I’ll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I’ll have protein and vegetables and no bread,” Carrie shared. “When I wake up, my belly is flat!”

Carrie Underwood rose to fame in 2005 after she won the fourth season of American Idol.

She is well known in Ghana for her hit single Jesus, Take the Wheel which was featured on her debut album, Some Hearts, released in 2005.
