The 6th annual Hollywood Music in Media awards (HMMA) is slated to come off at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood on November 11. The awards honour the use of music in visual media (film, TV, videogames, commercials and trailers), honouring the singer/songwriters.
The score for the newly released ‘Beast of No Nations’ , starring Idris Elba and teen sensation Abraham Attah (read our review here), bagged a nomination for Dan Romer in Best Original Score.
Wiz Khalifa’s song for Furious 7, ‘See You Again’, also scored a nomination in Song (Feature Film).
Other pop stars whose music was nominated for awards include Sam Smith and Lady Gaga.
