Every other week this country (USA) has to deal with a shooting incident, where people are mowed down for no sensible reason; yet somehow nothing ever gets done and everyone puts their hands in their laps to wait for the next one.

A shooting on the campus of Tennessee State University occurred on Thursday night. According to reports, the shooter managed to shoot three people, with one of them said to be in critical condition.

Police and emergency responders swiftly responded to the scene, and the victims were transported to hospital. Tanya Stone of Nashville Metro Police briefed the assembled media.

The status of the shooter is currently unknown, neither is any information about the identity of the victims.
