It’s Never True That All Entertainers Involve Themselves Into Bad Things – Becca

Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa popularly known as Becca has spoken against perceptions that entertainers do involve themselves into all sort of bad things.

She said it’s time for people to do away with the perception that entertainers are either into drugs, alcohol, s*x and other bad manners.

“It is never true. The fact that you are an entertainer does not mean you are like that,” she said.

Becca revealed in an interview with Nathaniel Attoh on Autograph on Joy Prime that, initially her father was not in support of her dream to become a musician due to such perception.

“My father did not want to hear anything about music, you know, they have this perception about musicians and singers. They think that, they are either into drugs, alcohol and s*x and these things formed part of his reasons to disregard my choice.”

Becca’s dream to pursue a career in music making came through after she was signed onto the EKB records by Kiki Banson.

She is now one of the best female entertainers in Ghana, Having won numerous awards for her great work.
