Nick Cannon was going for a perfectly legitimate point, that of appreciating legends whilst they are still alive; but that ‘equation’ of his is a big ‘no-no’.
You cannot put the ‘greatest of all time’ and one of the best rappers ever into your calculator and have it punch out Chris Brown as the answer. The answer would be a super human robot the likes of which has never been seen.
Nick Cannon made an Instagram post celebrating Chris Brown’s achievements, and calling for people to appreciate what he is doing. He used Michael Jackson and Tupac as examples of legends who were not appreciated whilst they were still alive.

Damn right I said it! The level of talent, passion, and artistic ability that this young man possesses makes @ChrisBrownOfficial a true legend amongst legends. A lot of times we don’t realize or acknowledge our treasures while we still have them with us. We wait until they are gone to appreciate their power. Think about how much everyone attacked MJ and 2Pac while they were alive… I don’t think I have ever witnessed someone more gifted, who has overcome so much and still growing and learning daily.
