Being hit with these kinds of lawsuits is nothing new for famous artistes, and sometimes the allegations are more than a little true.
This guy’s accusation sounds a little outlandish though.
Singer Jessie Braham is suing Taylor Swift for basically ripping off his 2013 song ‘Haters Gon Hate’ for her 2014 cult classic ‘Shake It Off’.
Brahama claims he used the phrase “Haters gone hater, playas gone play. Watch out for them fakers, they’ll fake you everyday.” in his song. His suit says Swift used the phrase over 70 times in her song.
According to TMZ, he is asking for “$42 million from Taylor, and wants his name added to any new prints of “Shake It Off.”
