In the pop world there is a very short list of artistes bigger than Rihanna. So I would term this a great deal.

After over seven months of intense negotiations, Samsung has closed a deal for Barbadian pop star Robyn Rihanna Fenty, to promote their galaxy line of products.

The groundbreaking deal was reported by the New York Post.

The drawn out negotiation process involved officials of the Korean electronics giants- as well as Rihanna’s manager Jay Brown and Roc Nation boss Jay-Z.

“Samsung wants to use Rihanna to help promote its Galaxy line of products and wants exclusive use of Rihanna-related video content to release via its Milk Music radio service, sources said.

“An open question is whether Jay Z’s Tidal streaming music service will gain any exclusivity given that Rihanna is a backer.” The Post reports.
