Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Jane Boafowaa Awindor, popular known as Efya- takes over as the headliner of the Girl Talk concert from Becca- who has lost the priviledge after calling it quits with her manager, Kiki Banson.

Organizers of the event earlier on debunked rumors circulating around that Efya would be the headliner for the 2015 edition of the event—and maintained that the headline artiste will be made known at the launch of the event which will take place on Tuesday, 17th November- at the Surfline’s LTE Lounge in Osu.

Billboards being mounted at some parts of the capital city ahead of the press launch—clearly indicates that there was an iota of truth in the earlier reports which confirmed Efya’s position as the headline artiste.

“I don’t know where the information is coming from but seriously it is not credible. As typically as we are, we don’t really talk about the show until we are ready. This rumours keeps coming almost every year. We heard it last year and even two years ago but in two weeks time or so, we will launch and outdoor the event as well as the headliner.

“It’s all going to be a surprise and will be known after two weeks during the launch,” Kiki Banson told Starr FM in a recent interview, attempting to debunk stories of Efya headlining.

The question on the table now is…Can Efya fill the vacuum that Becca left behind?
