After dating for just over a decade, the Minaj-Samuels romance exploded in a nasty break-up that still rears its head every now and then.
Its Samuels firing a shot this time, with an imminent lawsuit that is asking for a cut of Nicki Minaj’s earnings from three of her biggest albums.
According to reports, Samuels says he played a huge part in the creation of the albums ‘The Pink Print’, ‘Pink Friday’ and ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’, and thus deserves his share of whatever amount they earned for Nicki.
“Safaree will present a boatload of proof he was super involved in Nicki’s work. His evidence includes videos of him working with Nicki, voice memos from recording sessions, hours of footage from studio sessions. He says he also has multiple witnesses to validate his contribution.
“And Safaree says Nicki herself acknowledged his contribution by giving him executive producer credit on her first 2 albums.”
Samuels also wants a part of the earnings for hits such as ‘Only’, ‘Flawless’ and ‘Feeling Myself’
According to TMZ, the lawsuit would be filed by Safaree’s camp soon.
