Rapper Sarkodie was in the presence of royalty during the Mo Ibrahim concert over the weekend, meeting Grammy award winning artiste Angélique Kidjo.

As someone aspiring for a Grammy himself (as his songs make us aware, ad nauseam), Sarkodie obviously got close to the Beninois- taking an immortal snap with her.

He wasted no time posting the picture online, adding the caption: “When a legend is speaking … You shut TF up and listen … Blessed …. #AnjeliqueKidjo ????”

After his photo up, Kidjo also reposted, paying tribute to the Ghanaian artiste. If a little of her genius rubbed off on Sarkodie, we should be seeing more exploits from him soon.
