After a long and storied Hollywood career, Will Smith must be looking for the next means of fulfilment- probably bored out of his mind.

We all know that attempt to resurrect the music career would not go so well.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, the award winning actor noted that a career in politics might be the next logical step for him to take.

“As I look at the political landscape, I think that there might be a future out there for me,” Smith said.

“They might need me out there.”

He added that as someone who welcomes challenges, it is only natural that as he meets new ones, he attempts to scale them.

“I’m a climber, so if I see a mountain, I have to climb it. I’m not a camper; I don’t like hanging in one place too long. So I think, at this point, I’m elevating my ability to be useful in the world.

“I’m feeling that at some point, in the near future, I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way.” He added.

At 47 years, now might be the right time, even though he has more years ahead of him if he wants to stay in acting. Morgan Freeman is still going strong, last I checked.
