For close to ten years, the genius of this woman brought great comedy into the lives of millions worldwide. And since Friends ended in 2004, it has gone into syndication- and is one of the most enduring components of the pop culture zeitgeist.
Martha Kauffman has been married to husband Michael Skloff for the past thirty one years. The pair have three kids, and have just filed for divorce.
According to TMZ, everything has been pretty amicable. They’ve reached a settlement for how to divide up their property. Her husband Skloff is no slouch himself, having composed the iconic opening theme song to the show.
Their three children are all adults, so custody is not an issue.
Martha Kauffman created, wrote, and directed Friends with David Crane, from 1994-2004. She is currently running the Netflix original series ‘Grace and Frankie’.
