Chris Brown was supposed to tour Australia this month, but officials of the country have been threatening to deny him a visa due to his past domestic violence issues.

Brown had been trying to find a way to persuade them to give him an exception, but his charms were unable to work. Therefore, he has had to cancel his entire tour Down Under.

His promoters announced the cancellation without specifying any reason, but it’s obvious his inability to get the visa was the core problem.

TMZ notes “Chris’ lawyers were unable to change the minds of Aussie officials. Truth is, it was always going to be an uphill battle — even the Prime Minister had voiced opposition to letting him in the country.”

Promoters are attempting to reschedule, but it is unlikely he would ever be handed a visa to enter Australia.
