Dutch-born American television personality, Yolanda Foster and her now estranged husband David Foster have joined the list of celebrities who have had their marriages crashed in this year.
Yolanda Foster who is best known as a star of the American reality-television show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the Canadian musician and record producer announced their split on Tuesday, after just 4 years of marriage.
“Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways,” the couple tells ET in a joint statement. “We’ve shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues.”
“We are grateful for the years we’ve spent together and believe wholeheartedly that we did our best. We hope that we can pave the road ahead of us with all we’ve learned and with the love and respect we will always have for one another,” the statement concluded.
“It’s no secret that Yolanda’s been sort of through the ringer the last four years,” he told ET at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City. “Yolanda has brought a lot of awareness to the disease and here we are tonight.”
“She’s going to beat the disease,” David, 65, continued. “And when we see nights like this, it really gives us hope that we’re going to nail it.”
Yolanda had three children from her previous relationship with real estate entrepreneur Mohammed Hadid which lasted for six years (From 1994 to 2000).
David Foster on the other hand has five daughters from his previous marriages to Linda Thompson, Rebecca Dyer, and B.J. Cook.
