The year may be winding down—and Blake Shelton seems to have amazing moments to share right from his split from Miranda Lambert—and hooking up with his new sweetheart Gwen Stefani.
The country star has also been honored as one of the 2015 CMT Artistes of the Year who dominated the year under review—by ruling CMT’s platforms and scoring chart-topping album and singles in the United States.
“I want to thank my entire team,” Shelton said onstage. “There’s too many people to stand up here and name, but more importantly this has been a crazy year from the way it started to the way it’s ending so awesome for me, so thank y’all. This is a great way to end it for me. Thank you so much.”
Other artists who were honored at event which took place on Wednesday are Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt and Little Big Town.
Country legend, Kenny Rogers received the prestigious Artist of a Lifetime Award.
Coincidentally, Blake Shelton’s ex, Miranda Lambert, was honored at the last year’s edition of the CMT awards.
